Kent
prefers to play Gibson Firebird guitars. He owns
several other brands and models, but almost never gigs with anything other
than a Gibson or Epiphone (open tuned) Firebird.
Kent uses
medium gauge GHS "Boomer" strings (.011, .015, .018, .026, .036,
.050), and Jim Dunlop 1mm nylon picks. He usually uses a metal slide.

Kent's current
#1 amp set-up is a 2001 Fender Hot Rod Deville (2x12) , with a Fender
2x12 Bassman cabinet. Sometimes he will use a 1971 Fender Bassman Head
w/2x12 Bassman cabinet, or a 1973 Traynor Reverb Master Head through a
Music Man 4x12B cabinet.
